Off-Grid Data Centers Exempted from Acid Rain Regs

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on July 27 announced it had issued permitting guidance earlier this month exempting “islanded” power generators, or facilities with no connection to a utility grid, from the Clean Air Act’s Acid Rain program. .
